Sometimes you just feel pity for a guy. That guy, today, is Cory Dillon, who played a good game. Sitting in the at Paul Brown Stadium with my colleague William (Dablister) Mitchell and enjoying my favorite cocktail. This was a game that I expected to be a blowout and I was only here to do a cover story on LT the running back and LT the coach. I found myself in what turn out to be the most exciting game of the weekend. After watching the Chargers sleepwalk through the first half I begun to prepare an article on the biggest upset in week one of the NOMB. Then the Bengal Cory Dillon fumble mid way through the 4th quarter with Cincinnati leading 10-7. This was a questionable fumble and Dillon clearly appeared to be down be contact but there was no challenge by the Cincinnati Bengal coaching staff. On the ensuing play Drew Bress hit Tim Dwight on a 76 yds pass to take the lead. Then the Chargers defense held off the late charge and prevail 14-10 in a great game.
Wil
Brees sends it off with a kiss that hit Tim Dwight on a 76 yard bomb late in the 4th to put the Chargers up for good.
